difference in fenders

Im getting ready to install rocker moldings off of a Trans Am to my Formula, and I noticed the fenders are a little different as far as fit, they both match the body up top and down the doors, but when I get to the rocker panels, the drivers side sticks out a little, pass side is flush, dont know if that will hinder the install, heres a few pics, opinions? Thanks
