Well folks, the time has come - Friday I blew my last T-5 trans (#3) ... so I'm going auto (dang it all, I never thought the day would come). I'm looking for advice on where to stall this car. Details that I've found so far leave me thinking about 3500 to 4, leaning towards 36 to 38. (But I don't have a clue!)

Specs on the car: (blah blah blah)
1998 3.8 Pontiac Firebird with a Intercooled ProCharger kit pushing 10-12psi through a stock motor (that's going to change) - starts seeing good boost around 4G. Never had a chance to dyno the car so I don't know what it's hp/tq numbers are, but it was running mid to low 13s at 3400lbs ... and had more in it.

Specs on the trans:
4L60e with a manual valve body built to 11second "bullet proof" range.

No, this isn't a daily driver.
Yes, I'm automatic-challenged... so if there are important details that I've left out, please feel free to slap me and I'll get them as best I can.

the answer is right in your question ...
you make boost at 4000 rpm then at 4000 stall should put you right at the begining of your power band off the line.
