can one have a LT1 iron cylinder head milled down to make 54cc?
or is that structural damage on the head?
I have not heard and I figured i'd run this here.

I am not sure but 64-65cc sounds about right. from the factory iron head LT1s are 10.0:1, because of a thinner head gasket.

After thinking about it , removing 10 cc of volume from a 65 cc chamber is quite a bit. On thing that an engine builder did when he was working on a set of cyl. heads for my NHRA stock class car was angle cut the heads,he was able to remove considerable volume by doing that. ed
