New Member here. Read the cam guide and browsed the site for several days and discovered that I really need informed opinions on a cam. My car is a 2002 Trans Am with a Borla cat back exhaust. Looking for a cam that could be a daily driver. The hp gains are nice but mainly looking for that cammed sound. The car will be tuned after installing also. Thanks for any Ideas you may have.

Get headers and a looser torque converter first (if A4.). If not, you're going to be stuck with sleeper or baby grinds.

Drivability is very much a function of how well a tuner can tune. I've heard some large cams idle like small grinds with the same drivability.

Keep in mind that a cam change requires more than a tune. You need springs and pushrods and you might as well upgrade the timing chain and oil pump while everything is open.

Thanks Greed4speed. After more research I had decided i needed headers first. Thinking about calling texas speed and letting them recommend a cam.
