Hi guys, new here. I have a 97 formula that im having a horrible miss from the #6 Cyl. Normally I would chalk this up to plugs and wires, but I just had it at the GM dealership for this not even 1500 miles ago. The only code it has is for the #6 misfire. Im at a loss and need some ideas.

other than unplugging and listening for a difference how can I test the injector? I hope its not the cap, plugs or wires since that was all changed at the dealer.

Swap 2 injectors.. if it stays at 6 its not an injector. Could do the same with the plug.. also use a spark checker to make sure u got spark at plug..

it only takes about 5-10 minutes to pull both fuel rails, suspend them, throw a peice of cardboard under each one, unplug the coil connector (might as well, just so it dont spark), and have someone crank it.

you can see them spraying and figure out what's going on.

you want a nice fine mist, not a hose-like stream.

make sure all injector retaining clips are in place before doing the test !!

also when you are not cranking, confirm no injectors are dribbling (leaking)
