Are used le2 heads/intake safe to buy?

I am in the market for some ported heads and there is a set of used le2 heads and intake off of a camaro for a real good price locally. My question is are these a relatively safe buy and are there any things i should look out for or is it just a risk i will have to take?

As long as the heads look good then yiu will be okay. Im not sure about the intake, but true le2 heads have. Le2 stamped on them on them. Make sure that the stamp is on there as that is the only way to tell if they are truely le2 heads.

thanks for the info i didnt know that but ill be sure to look for it
Lloyd also usually stamps the customer last name on them, so you can take down the name and call him up to verify they passed through his hands.

I would just be wary of how long the springs were run and unknown, may be a good time to replace springs/seals etc.
