97 throttle body bypass..

2 quick questions.. I think I'm gonna do this is it makes sense and I don't have coolant back in My car yet. Q 1: does a 97 need a 3/8 to 3/8 connector or a 3/8 to 5/16? Also I dont believe so but looking for confirmation, are there any sensors that will trip with no coolant in tb?

You don't need any connector at all. You just take the rubber hose from the radiator, remove it from the TB and route it to the steam line from the back of the heads, bypassing the TB. There are no sensors involved.
