hey guys im sure plenty of you have done this already. but im wanting to swap my 93 trans am front end (ie. bumper hood fenders) to the 98-02 trans am style. what are all the parts needed to do this right? and on a scale from 1-10 how hard is this to do?

The job won't be that difficult. Parts you will need are hood, fenders, headlight assemblies, bumper cover, bumper bar, foam baffle. And HERE"S SOMETHING not to forget, ALL BRACKETS.

It's best to find a parts car that front end is intact. Remove the parts yourself. That way you'll have an idea where they go and some experience in how they're assembled.

Resources available to you include 4th gen parts books found in sticky threads of this section. However, for some reason the 4th gen firebird book is missing all info on front bumper parts. Complete section is missing.

But there's good news, while in 4th gen section find the thread titled "GM servive manuals" Open it, click the link. There are 6 different years of factory service manuals there to download the ones you need.

Also at same site link takes you, you'll find the firebird exploded views. Download one or all of the 98-02 ones and you'll find diagrams of the front bumper parts there.
