Hi I have a 1997 LT1 Trans Am, not to long ago I decided to swap my 2.73 gears for 3.73. I’ve read all the forums where people have rev limiter issues and I know you need to adjust the shift points. The thing is everywhere around me does not have the software to tune a 97 LT1. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Only things I can suggest are; 1st stop would be the gearhead efi forum. This forum specializes in tuning of GM car computers.
They should have a list of obd 2 tuning programs out there. Also they may have bin files that are already set up for your make, model, engine, trans, & gear ratio.
Another suggestion would be a net search for obd 2 tuning programs for GM cars. One thing I do know is that obd 2 tuning programs are kind of pricey.
Last thing I can suggest is to contact Salomon at www.lt1pcmtuning.com
You could send him your pcm & he could tune it to your specs and send it back.
