I don't think I will ever get my 13 second run, 3 passes of 14.4 with a 2.1 short time. I think my transmission is about gone as well, OD doesn't work and when shifting from 1st to 2nd the car would shift into 2nd then 3rd and back to 2nd. And to top my day off my drivers side window motor broke so I couldn't put my window up, so I called it a day. Some days you get the track and some days the track get you. I hope everyone else had a good weekend.

geez, i never knew thats the color your mustang was. i have a buddy that has one just like yours. hes nowhere near yours though. i hope you get there soon man, then i hope i join you

I'm running M/T DR's. The best time I ran in the car was a 14.0 with a 2.0 short time and that was on street tires. My next move after fixing the window so they will let me race is to rip the AOD out and go with a T5.

No, it's all stock (I think the tranny is about gone). Not much done to the car. I was happy with a best of 14.0 on street tires and thought DR's would drop me into the 13's.
Here's the breakdown on the car:
1991 LX AOD 198,000 miles
4.10 gears
K&N filter (stock air box)
70mm TB
MAF
Timing bumped to 14'
Under-drive pullies
A/C, Smog pump, air silencer, front sway bar removed
Once I went with the DR's I slowed down 4 tenths, the weather has been alot hotter also.
So I don't know if it's the heat or the Dr's bogging me down some. I would guess the car is around 200 to the wheels with that many miles.

Sound like your 60' is whats eating your times. you could see HIGH 13's with yoursetup id bet. A stall ,and some suspension work will def get you there though.

Yea, I can't get the car under a 2.0 short time, not to worry I'm dumping the AOD and going with a T5

You should be able to get around 1.8s out of the whole with drag radials and a torque converter. Swappin in a T5 may be the best thing for it. Good luck!

I priced out a built AOD and it would be alot cheaper to do a T5 conversion, so thats the route I'm going

Good job now get it in there and run the shist out of her. Old buddy of mine cliff had a 5.0 called it the skunk ran 6 seconds in 1/8th.
