Driven daily for 10 yrs. Fast forward to 2009 and 125k the oil pressure starts acting weird. Adult driven and synthetic oil all its life. Pull the engine out and find 2 front cam bearings spun.. Been racing all my lif and never seen a SBC spin cam bearings.. Is it because of the extra load of the water pump drive? Or Opti drive? IDK. So, off to the machine shop it goes. And, since it's already apart...
