24x harness question????

Have an opportunity to purchase a used 24x harness. However his car was an auto and mine is a stick. Will there be an issue?

a bit of a project; you can slice off the auto connector and rig 'er up for your T56 for a manual pretty easy... manual only needs vss, reverse light, and reverse lockout... and maybe skip shift if you swing that way. the auto harness has a ton of wiring you can pull from. just need to repin @ the ecm a bit for those three things and throw a few pigtails on there.

Sorry for my ignorance this is my least favorite aspect of working on cars. What is vss? And how easy is it to Repin? Thank you btw

Scratch that. I just looked up an a4 to t56 write up...I'm sure its not very different. Thank you for the help. I'll use the write up I found as a guide...unless it isn't the same haha

Our member dynamic396 has done the switch to 24X. Might want to ask him for tips on making the process easier.
