To Trust or Not To Trust the GPS racing apps for Cell Phones

How much faith should I put in free GPS cell phone racing apps to track your 0-60 performance and 1/4 mile? I've tried a couple and they show a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds and a 1/4 mile best at 14.8 @104, slowest was 15.3 @ 107.

Not sure if a car would do 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and then take over 15 seconds to reach the quarter, but pass through it at 107mph. Online estimators say it should be mid 12s.

You guys have more real world experience with being on the track. So, give me your two cents.
