Why would gas be pumping out my tank vent line?

94 Z28 convertible,
new fuel pump installed by Prev Owner, in-tank lines appear correctly installed..........................

Had it running for 10-15 sec until BIG fuel spill via this vent line

this is the fuel tank vent line from the fuel tank lid assembly down to the air press valve behind the DSide rear tire

Go to the following link and check to see if fuel lines are correctly installed. A fuel line in the wrong place is most likely reason for fuel out the vent line.

Solved

it happens when the clown who installed the pump before you hooks the bypass line from the pump to the air inlet port on the tank lid !!!!

Unhooked, popped into clips made to hold the CURVED tube and reinstalled -- went for a short drive !!
