AFR 195's #1039, competition package. Any good?

I've got a line on some AFR competition-package 195cc LT1 heads that were run for two weeks. (These are the heads) I can get them for $1300. I understand that I'd need to source an LT4 intake to run these. Would they be a worthwhile upgrade for a 100% street-driven car with a smallish emissions-legal cam?

Any way you look at it, they're cheaper than an AI or LE head and I've heard some good things about AFR competition heads.

Thanks in-advance

Hell yes they'd be an upgrade! I'd jump on 'em.

I run a set. Mine have since been significantly modded. Best part is they offer TONS of room for future work if desired. Verify the chamber size as they come in a 58cc and a 65cc. That'll make a big difference in performance. Put them on with a .028 gasket when you install them to get even more out of them.
