Compression ratio with 91 octane?

What's the highest compression ratio you would want to run on 91 octane? Can you safely run 11:1?

Unfortuneately its not that easy. Yes you can safely run 11:1 CR as long as you pull enough timing to make up for it, however the real question will be, is this going to net you any increase in HP?

In truth I cant answer this part of the question as I dont have to run 91 here in WV, but know someone who can and will, drop an email to Mr Tony Mamo at AFR. He can rattle stuff like this off the top of his head.

The 408 is in and if you aint running 10's.......
YOU STILL WANTS NONE

Thanks for the help. While my engine won't be completed for quite some time, I wanted to know what cr to shoot for.

I talked to a couple modded LS1 owners last night and one was running 11.3:1 and the other was running 11.8:1, both on 91 octane tune.
