Default 6.Awesome super internet fast red stallion Build

Well seeing as my job security is in check for at least 6 years I'd start up a thread over here for the build........What the PLAN is going to be is a MS3 Cam only 5.3 with 243 heads and a Vic Jr/ 750 carb think I found the car the power plant will be put in and closing in on getting the car. Not 100% on what tranny I'ma put behind it but thinking TH400/TH350 I'm going to try to follow the guy on Tech who did the swap with the same parts running 10.XX's and try to follow that as much as possible

I'm still not 100% on the cam the MS3 seems to be the "CC306" of the LS1 that it works but is an out dated cam that loves the gas but Input, Hate, Suggestions are welcome seeing as I have the short

What I have so far is the
5.3 out of a 2008 Tahoe
With 243 heads 130k miles and link to the car

1993 mustang lx street/strip drag car

I'm going to figure the car out on motor first then go ahead and get the Nitrous stuff. But you can throw me a PM and see what me might be able to work out

Harwood 6 inch cowl
8 pt cage
Strange Adjustable rear shocks
8.8 with 3.73s
Weld 15 drag lites
98 GT dash and console
and 50k on the body

The junkyard?

Word of advice, just focus on getting the car running solidly before sliding down the slippery slope of engine mods etc.

6.0 Short block MINT With Rockers and everything but Intake
317 heads
5.3 with heads
ARP 6.0 BRAND new main studs
5.3 Flattop pistons

450 Doll hairs for all of it

6.0 LQ4 stock bottom end (ARP main studs, Head bolts, Rod bolts)
Carb'd Vic Jr
TR T-Rex cam (Got a few compaines as well spec'ing a cam)
Patriot Gold extremes
Stock 243's
TH350 JW 3800 stall (Probably going to go a bigger now)
And when time comes 150 shot
3.73s
All hopefully in a sub 3000 pound fox

Car is going to be a strictly car I drive at the track with a tag on it just for fun when I want to mess around on the street.


So pretty much still the same just a few changes
