Well guys finally sold my last lt1 I had laying around today also dropped the ls1 off at a buddies to drop off at the machine shop for me!

After I sold the lt1 I turned around and got a great deal from my buddy some .660 dual springs for $150!

So so far into the build I have a complete motor, cam, full exhaust,k member and steering, arp rod bolts...etc.

And since I have gotten most of my stuff for free or cheap I believe I've only spent a grand total so far of $435 bucks and machine work will be about 350-400. Re ring kit is around $450 then u just have tranny bellhousing input shaft etc...,wiring,PCM and tune so I'm think overall with the whole swap ill be under 2000 easy for everything when I get the rest of this lt1 stuff sold I definately will be!

Thank you! Been trying to keep the cost down and since I had my t56 rebuilt when I had the lt1 ill have a brand new motor that should be pretty stout as well as a fresh t56 that I hope holds lol

Cool beans, sounds like it should be a relatively cheap lil build you got going

When are you hoping for it to drive?

Well I'm hoping I can have it done by my birthday in April! But idk bc I have the tranny parts to buy as well as wiring stuff. I haven't decided if I'm gonna buy a 99-02 harness and repin it or buy a brand new plug in play one its 250-300 vs 700.

Decided to try my hands with some plastidip for the first time! I'd been wanting to for some time and damn lemme say I went crazy on this car with all it's faded paint really made me happier with the car after I laid a few coats down on some stuff! Here's the wheels first!

I'm really liking the wheels now gonna make a good set of beater wheels!

Next did the sail panel!

Just to give you an video of how crappy the front bumper looks here's the faded headlight bucket.

And after I sprayed both and the emblem still wet right here!

Love this stuff though haha!

Hopefully gonna get my block and rotating assembly balanced and Arp's back from the machine shop next week!
