I noticed that when I went out there lol it's a nice place. The guy I got it from was probably late 30's or early 40's but you may have seen it a time or two...still never figured out what he wanted with a crotch rocket but I bout regret that trade...3000 miles on the fresh motor all h*** broke loose inside it

Had a mysterious oil pressure loss, changed the pump (didn't fix it), developed a loud tick, found the rockers were slinging off and lifters had collapsed, and the cam bearings are shot. Add in the trans slip and it's a lovely mess. The shop that originally done the work (in Sept 2010) even remembered the build, guy called it a total nightmare...I now see why lmao

talk about a bad week and i thought a blown powersteering pump then a spun rod bearing sucked lol do u have a build thread on here? I would like to c the story on fixing the problems lol

Nah where I've had to move and only get to tinker with both projects a little at a time I'm just keeping it documented til she's done, along with the other

I understand that lol well need to get one running rod run was a blast this past fall i'm sure the spring will be no let down... Plus a group of us there would make it even better may plan a ride for one day hit the dragon and end up back at rod run without back tracking somehow lol
