Default Rare 1997 LT4 Firehawk

As much as it saddens me I am forced to sell my sports car. I am a flooring installer and work is so slow right now I have to pay the bills somehow. The has been well taken care of in storage for the past 3 years now and driven on the weekends with only 71,3xx miles. Over the past few years there have been a few modifications made to the car because losing to a Cobra was not an option. The modifications include - K&N Filter, Tybrn mas air ends, CC306 Cam, Crane Springs, Hardened push rods, Borla Exhaust, B&M Ripper, OBD2 LT1 Edit, MSD wires and plugs, BMR boxed sub frames and tubular control arms, SLP drive shaft loop, and Motive 4.10's After about $4,000 in mods and after tuning the car made 360 RWHP and 340 RWT on APE's mustang dyno.

A little on the history of the 1997 LT4 Firehawk:
To help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pontiac Firebird, SLP Engineering Inc. produced 29 of its model Firehawks with an all new balanced and blueprinted 330-hp LT-4 Engine. SLP had 150 of these LT4 engines with its increased-flow-rate injector’s reworked ports, bigger valves, high-lift cam, and higher compression pistons. 100 of them were put into the 30th anniversary camaros, another50 for the firehawk, which at the production deadline they had only 29 and a prototype built. The remaining engines were sold as crate engines. Leaving, as SLP states in a letter that comes with the car “Congratulations! You’ve purchased what, we believe, could become the most COLLECTABLE 4th generation Firebird.” The LT4 Alteration package includes
• 330 HP Balanced and Blueprinted, 5.7 Liter, LT4 V8 Engine
• 330 HP Decals
• Free Flow Dual Exhaust system with resonators and twin tips
• Lightweight Flywheel
• High Performance Pressure Plate
• Lightweight Driveshaft
• High Strength ring and pinion gear set
• Hurst Six-Speed Short Throw Shifter
• Engine Oil Cooler
• Torsen Limited Slip Differential with AAM Cast Aluminum Cover
• Quaker State Synquest Synthetic Lubricants
• Level 3 Bilstein Ultra Sport Suspension Package
Base Vehicle Price $23,370
LT4 Alteration Package $17,023
Total Vehicle Price $41,000

Vehicle Condition:
The car has only 71,3xx miles in good condition with the usual minor rock chips on the front and a couple very small scratches. The interior is in excellent condition. Car still runs good even after sitting in storage for the past couple years only driven on select weekends. I am including with the car the OBD2 LT1 Edit program (This program will allow you to read the contents of your vehicle’s PCM and then reprogram it.) with an older laptop with all the previous edit files. I am also including Auto Tap for Palm with a newer Palm Pilot.

The NADA Guide (KBB does not list firehawks) LOW retail value is $11,000 WITHOUT the $17,000 LT4 Package. I am offering this beautiful car for only $11,000. Give me a call if you want to take a look and believe me it sounds just as good as it looks! The car is located just outside of St. Louis, MO...
