My son wants to race the Impala. I might as well put a supercharger on a garbage truck but I'm trying to make it a little faster so he won't be embarrassed. Here's what I've come up with so far. It would probably do one of your Camaro's some justice.

Mahle -16 cc dish pistons. Nice coating and quench pad. They will hopefully go up and down without too much problem and remain in the block for quite some time.

I mad one of the holes bigger in the big red thing that sits on top of the engine. Since I couldn't find a throttle body like that I had to do the other one too. 58 is a bunch bigger than 48.

Speaking of bigger holes, some guy named Lloyd Elliot mad the other holes in the heads bigger. Just what we needed, bigger holes in our head.

Everyone said to get some roller thingy's for the top of the head so I got the ones that most of y'all said to.

It made no sense to have roller rockers and roller lifters being turned by the stock butt link chain so I put in a Cloyes 3157 true roller. That's what they call it, honest. What is a false roller? The water pump runs off electric so I just plugged up the hole for the splined thing. I lost the coupler anyways.

36# injectors (great for mileage), some paint and a little aluminum polish made all these parts look like they're supposed to go together.

All this stuff to try to get a little less mileage. I mean, the Arabs need more money and I really feel sorry for them. Thanks you all for all the help so far. What I've done is to try to put the engine together based on the input of a lot of people on this and the Impala forum. I appreciate and need the help. ---Bill---

I must agree. damn! A much funnier take than the other place it's listed. I wasn't ready for that. Likely should have had a mouth full of pop when reading this.
