Didn't I read in another post you were using all forged internals w/ 6" rods? your going to want to get some good fasteners or there is no reason to use forged parts. Order some ARP rod/main bolts.

These are the stock specs Rods 45 ft lbs Main cap bolts 75 ft lbs oil pump 65 ft lbs , but if you are using ARP's or another high pro fastener than I would use there specs.

Kinda scary. You can't change from bolts to studs without an align-hone.

Some specifics here would be good - you're asking questions that kinda seem like you haven't done your homework on the build...not trying to be a d*ck, just don't want you to fire up and make expen$ive scrap...

So you're NOT using a windage tray? And the machine work is already done on the block and rods?

And I hate to ask but...you're not REUSING the rod/main bolts, correct?

no all arp do you think ill be ok without a windage tray and they are scat rods with arp bolts

I'm a little leery of diving in here - you said the bolts were stock, then they were ARP. I'm going to pass as good advice given out of context can cause problems

My suggestion is to work with your machine shop on this stuff if you don't have someone local that can help out.

i was going to use stock but decided otherwise and i cant find arp bolts for a windage tray
