Very well said, and awesome car. Been there, done that. But one thing I can assure you, the kids do grow up. That's not to say you are ever done rasing them, you just get a little more time and money for yourself. You can take the man out of the car but you can't take the car out of the man. I'm sure there will be something else very cool in your future. Sometimes we just have to put some things on hold for other more important things. Sure wish I had that 68 GTO back

Thanks for the words of encouragement! Sometimes it seems like I'll never get back to it.

You will dude, you're doing the right thing. Just keep your eye on what's really important. It does pay off in the end.

Chris- I know how you feel! Priorities change... kids, job, etc.

I sold my 1980 Resto-mod Vette in March of this year.

We already have a toddler and another due in October. When we had just one kid... my wife thought it was great that I'd take our son out and she could stay home.

Well, I went out and bought my Trans Am so that we would have something all of us can ride in.

It's not a track car... nor tuned to carve corners. It's just a 100% OEM throw back to my college years. It was <$6k, so very family budget friendly.

I'm sure you'll get the itch again... and another weekend car.
