IceMatrix69 Apprentice Level Tech I
Default Looking for some insight...

I have completed my rebuild of my engine and am currently in the middle of my TH400 and 9" swap. After I complete those I am contemplating throwing a small shot to it and was wondering if anyone would have any recommendations as far as a good complete kit. I'm only looking to throw around 100-125 shot on it. Any information or insight is greatly appreciated as NOS is something I have never played with........

Nitrous is new to me as well. I have heard nothing but good things about ZEX. That is the kit I have on my car.

I do not like Zex.

But are you running a LT1 intake or SBC style?

I am running a ported stocker. Is the Zex kit a complete kit or would I have to purchase a controller and other various pieces to go along with it. I don't believe I need anything above a single stage wet shot especially since I'm only looking for a 125 shot max but I'm open for suggestions....

I'm not worried about my bottom end, and I'm sure my heads and cam are up to the challenge but just the thought of throwing some juice to it is both scary and intriguing at the same time

This is the kit I would recomend.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...9&product=2806

And a window switch for activation, also does gear lockout etc.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...=26&section=86

Bottle pressure guage and sender.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...7&product=3457

Bottle heater and mount.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...0&product=2775

fuel pressure safety shut off.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...2&product=2553

There is more, but that should get you going on what you need in general.

thats cool somebody finally makes a plate system that is actually for lt1 , but i already had a plate on mine for 5 years kit 5151 from nos which summit and jegs said wouldnt work . it was for tuned port injection . i really think the plate is why my car runs so good .
