Default How do I eliminate 99.9% of rear suspension squat!?!?

I need something that will eliminate rear suspension squat completely. I have gotten mixed answers about the air lift air bags and shocks. I need to know how to eliminate the rear suspension from squating for the cheapest $$$$ because I am poor.

I don't want to hear about buy UMI, buy BMR, buy this, buy that...

I want to hear from people that have needed to clear a 27" tire with lowering springs. The tires have 2" of clearance and the suspension squats horribly. I can push down on the truck and make the fenders hit the tires.

Summit three way shocks. Set em on 50/50 and voila. Cheap too.

I used to be able to bounce the rear of my car by pushing on it, not so much any more.

Cause they are not for 4th gens. Same with the Comp. Eng shocks, not listed for 4th gen use either.

If ya don't believe me, I will take a pic of mine on the car on Thursday.

They are not gas shocks though. So that would be my guess as to why they are not listed for new car use.

That is stupid... if they fit for sure and those are the right part number, that is a VERY good possibility for me.

Did they eliminate squat under acceleration?

I'm running those too, 50/50 for street and if I feel like trying to break my back on the back road bumps bump it up to 70/30 and it won't squat at all. Not too bad on the street either.

I think you can just look up those shocks for 3rd gens, pretty sure thats what I ordered.

When I first saw this post I was going to be smart and just tell you to weld in a piece of square tubing instead of a spring

You da bomb-diggity!

I'll be running the 70/30 setting 99.9% of the time. I would like to run 27" tires. Keep in mind the car has been lowered 1.5"+ so the 27" tires have about 2" at most before they hit the fenders.

Should I just get 26" tires to be safe? I am thinking so...
