Default help

So I have a 93 Trans am which has been lowered, I noticed it leaked a little rear end fluid but wasn't very concerned. However after it has sat for a few months for winter there is a pretty large puddle of fluid. My thoughts were to just add some fluid - making sure it isn't low and taking it to my uncle's who has a lift and replacing the rear seal. My question is the leak something that is common with lowered 4th gen's and will replacing the gaskets solve it? or do I need to do something with the drive shaft angle?

Thanks in advance
