Default LT1 SWAP/ 1967 Camaro

I've gotta 67 Camaro that originally had a 250ci straight 6. I've rebuilt a LT1 that came out of a 96 Impala SS and I'm ready to make the swap.

Can any one give me specific information as to which motor mounts (LT1) will match up with which frame mounts (67 Camaro)?

Any information would help. I'm ready to drop! Thanks.

Good question, my suggestion, check out this website:

Mine was a V8 to V8 swap and I just used the motor mounts for my year of Camaro so I'm not really sure what your challenge might be, but I'd suspect reference any parts for a V8 thats the same year as yours.

The LT1 has the same motor mount holes as the SBC. So you should just be able to use the same lower brackets and mounts that you would use to drop a V8 in there.

+2 to Spartan7 I just finished dropping an LT1 into a 64 Impala. All mounts except the trans (4L60E) worked out fine. I had to move the crossmember back about 3 inches for the new trans.
