Default ls1 trans for lt1

The trans is from a lt1 f body, BUT the trans will bolt up (there will be a unused 7th hole [top center] which i don't need) and i got the torque converter from the ls1, the only diff is the wire harness (from what i read even though many people say it wont bolt up)... I assume i can splice the wires into my harness???

Not sure but i though thats what i read???

You're car is an LS car, totally missed that sorry.

I'm pretty sure the input shafts are different on the ltx vs lsx units so even though you have the lsx tc it still won't work.

My bad, no its an LT1 from a impalla ss but in a mustang (long story but i love it) I just read many places that the bolt pattern is the same with the addition of a 7th bolt for the lsx series (i will just not use the 7th bolt hooking to my lt1).

The wiring is definitely different though

Also if their is 1 band for 2-4 how come they sell 2 different servos?

2nd gear apply-
http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-07791103k.htm

4th gear apply-
http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-00077767k.htm

It looked like one servo to me, if its two then could just the 4th been actuating and thats why i still had 4th???? Yet second was first gear ratio?

Thanks, sorry for the dumb questions i have read and read but these manuals are like legislature....
