Default mph correction

After a gear change on my 1995 z28 4l60E,is there any other way than a hypertech programmer to correct the mph?

a full computer tune. or borrow a hypertech or ebay one.

I think jet offers something that just does speedometer corrections, but that runs around $150(i think) For that price you can go ahead and get a full tune and gain sum HP!
