Default L48

Does the l-48 from late 70's use 1.25" retainers and have an installed spring height of 1.75", this seems to be what I get, but can not get a clear answer?

Also whats the max spring pressure everyone runs on a flat tappet cam, is 115ish a bit much for small-med cam?

Thanks

The sizes sound about right.

115# is a bit high for a mild cam. What's the open force?

It should be right around 300 pounds open b/c it won't have much lift. I just don't want to destroy a cam lobe from too much pressure.

The main goal is to get it to sound a little better, the car already has LT headers and side pipes and is mainly a show car. I just don't want to go too big on the cam and kill the DCR b/c the static CR is only 8.5:1
