very nice build I'm building almost the same motor I have the 847 cam and am building around it as well!

1997 Z28 mosier 12 bolt 411 c-clip enliminators, built 6sp, full bolt on motor. Stuck between 383 or 396 with a big turbo! )

Harness looks awesome and I'm very impressed with TPiS. Did they charge you extra for the piece? Do they now understand that the LT1 TB they were selling was incorrect? I wonder if they will use your design in the future or not.

Thanks, man! Engine harness is almost done as well.

No, they didn't charge extra. In fact, he gave me a discount for being a shop owner, and for my input into the change.

Yes, they realized that it was incorrect for the LT1 and it needed to be changed. He said all LT1 throttle bodies from now on will be built with the proper idle passage. They permanently changed their CNC file.

UPDATE: Here's the reason the LT1 project has been on perpetual hold. But, I finally got the race car on the track, so I may actually get to make some progress on the Camaro if I don't sell it first...

Not yet. I'll try to get my wife to get a few videos this Saturday. I'm also working on getting some in-car GoPro videos. But, at this point, I'm just glad I made it to the first race of the season!

Beautiful car. Super Late Model? Lumina body? Running 4 barrel? Take lots of pics before u race it. It will never look that good again. But u will have massive fun racing it.

Good luck this season,

Hey, thanks! It's kind of funny. I had intended to paint the car mostly red, with white hood, roof and rocker panels, but I never could get my schedule lined up with my painters' schedule. So I ended up just putting the car back together with the white body panels, painting the rockers red, had red numbers made, and then just put every sticker I could find onto the car. It actually turned out OK... And we managed to get through the first race unscathed...!

I can run it as a Super Late Model if I want, but it's set up as a "Limited" Late Model. We have to run a flat tappet cam, iron heads and a dual plane intake in the Limiteds, as well as the Hoosier 970 grooved tire (instead of full slicks in the Super Late Model class).

Yes, we can run a 4 barrel. Mine has a Holley 750.

Chevrolet body. It's an "Impala SS".

So with iron heads, dual plane intake and flat tappet u could run a GEN II sbc?

One race already - now your hooked. Theres a lot of mom and pop racing in the Super Late Model, etc. classes. A lot of work but a truck load of fun. U probably have a pit crew also.

Yeah, so far it's been a truck load of fun, but a truck load of $$$, too...! Lots of body parts, tires and race gas...!

The ride was ok but we timed it during all those heavy mid west storms so It rained and was very windy the whole trip. Plans are a Pro Touring/show car.
