Whoever names new engines for GM must be lazy...just flip through the history book and wherever your finger lands they just call it that.

It needs a cool nickname like Ford's Coyote.

Agreed the guys at GM are getting lazy.

Charged RAISS, Cherrybombs, 50% Underdrive, Weight Reduction, Built 4L60-E, 8.5" 3.08 Rear End and a Kickass Arrowstick to boot.

LOL isn't that the truth.. the SD 455 in the 1973/74 T/A was an LS2.

the Iron duke in the 82-85 firebird was an LQ9.
