First id like to say welcome to the site..Please use this section only as an introduction.. a simple thread saying who you are .. where your from.. your vehicle goals etc...
Lately ive been seeing so many threads where people totally disreguard the section.. if you want answers to why your lt1 camaro is overheating? post in the lt1 section .. the place most viewed by fellow lt1 enthusiasts. etc...

whats up im from troy, NC. i got my first car last year and its a 95z with an a4. it had 188K on it with a blown head gasket. me and my dad swapped motors for one from a 95 deville and changed cams and the heads. which makes it the exact same as the camaro motor of that year. this motor has 89K on it and it runs 14.35 at 98mph in the 1/4. im expecting to eventually have a 12.5 daily driver out of it that gets decent mileage.....

Hey Mike, Just got a 96 Z28 convertible and posted my first thread today. This is a great forum. 2 hrs later and I,ve received lots of advice. Good luck on you,re project.
I purchased a wrecked 96 lt1 formula one firebird for the motor and tranny. I have a 29 model a sedan that I cut down into a king cap pickup. I bought the donor car to put in it. I pulled everything I could from the car, steering column and ignition, shifter, all car wiring but not the security wiring from the doors. I have the tank, fuel lines, radiator. I think I have everything to make this motor run except reprograming the computer to ignore security and rear o2 sensors. Is there someone out there that can help me learn more. I have a local man that can do the computer and wiring harness for about $500. I can do wiring but he may want to do it to avoid future problems, I understand. That is my starting point, am I in the right place. Jimmy
