Hello, I'm Dave from TN. I ordered my Green 1994 3.4 Camaro 5 speed and drove it off the show room floor. Not many add ons besides the Z-28 wheels and the Bose Sound System. I was looking to keep this car long term, so I went low teck eschewing power any thing in the cabin.
This car has given faithful service with only replacement of the belt, head liner and alternator, and a recent clutch swap out apart from the regular tire, brake and oil changes.
As I drove company cars up to 2002, this car has 123,000 miles clocked, and I'm looking for plenty more. Since I'm having a new issue and can't remember how to post a new thread could someone provide some sage advice on the subject.

94 LT1 Camaro in pieces
Ok. Here we go. 94 Z28 bought in 98 as a wreck repair. Put back together. Built up as a sports racer. Lowered and tightened up with Eibach, Hotchkiss, Weld wheels and all eurathane bushings. Featured twice on Hot Rodding TV back in the late 90's. Rebuilt LT1 with SLP cam and Lingenfelter massaged heads. Blew it up first time out. Failed to rebalance crank. Live and learn. I'm only 60. I've been wrenching since I was 14. I still have a lot to learn.
Need help putting together a new drivetrain. Was thinking about an LS3 with a close ratio 5 speed and a 9" front loader axle or maybe independent rear suspension.
I am open to any ideas or help.
Thanks

Hello, I'm Greg, I am building an LT1, M6, powered 63 Pontiac Lemans, mixing and matching some components to facilitate install, i am putting Impala accessories on an alum head TA motor. noticed that the balancer on the Impala motor had some divits drilled in elastimer ring but TA motor did not. Do you have to use hub and balancer as a matched set or will the TA balancer work with the Impala hub?
