lt1 smog pump delete

ok, I have a 96 t/a obd2,so I know I am gonna have to flash the computer for this,but I was wondering how my car would run and idle if I where to remove it with out flashing the pcm,just for temporary till I get the $$$ to flash the computer

there is no real gain from removing it. i would just leave it on.

I just wanna remove it to create more room to make my engine easier to work on and have less clutter

as long as you plug all the lines you shoul be fine when running. you might have to reset the idle air. and you are going to throw codes constantly for egr flow, and so on. you are my 900th post.
