Default Made my own fuel vent tube

Well getting trans am ready for world of wheels . Polishing this and that . Moved my plastic vent line out of way and snap ! Then snap again and again !!! Dealer says discontinued ... SOOOO .. I went to Orielleys and bought a 50" piece of brake line , cut off one end , put in drill , sanded it down and down finer grit each time , then buffing compound , lastly new dull . LOOKS LIKE CHROME NOW last price dealer had was 80 bucks , I did this for 6 !

to be honest

you have the idea right

but its ugly

it stands out in your engine bay way too much

the routing could be drastically improved

i'd do-over

its solenoid purge.. burns fuel vapors from your tank

if you delete it, you can get rid of the solenoid too, and the hose to your intake, find a two-way vented cap that fits, or put a small filter on the end of that hose

it'll throw a code if you delete the solenoid though, need to tune it out
