Oh and by the way... Prob use new hardened bolts.... I just freaking snapped one of mine off in My cam torqueing to 74. As required.... So freaking pissed... Had the timing all done and chain installed etc.... Now I gotta take My brand new cam to a machine shop...grrrrrr... O need a few shots

Ummm...74 is for the crank hub bolt. The cam sprocket bolts are 18. No way those little bolts would ever be that much torque.

You sure about that? Unless I read My chilton wrong.. but that makes sense given they are omly 3/8 bolts... Unfortunately I don't think that effected My bolt as I barely had it more than hand tight when I felt it stretch and snap.

74, 75 for the hub. Yes, very sure. I would replace all the cam bolts.

Dont forget some of those specs. may have been listed in inch pounds,not saying they were but a posibility. The most torque in ft/lbs for a grade 8
3/8-24 cap screw that I ever saw was 35 ft /lbs. ed

Yeah i thought about that too. I dont know anymore... Im just gonna ask My local machi.e shop when I pick up the cam with bolt extruded. I figured let the pro do it b4 I mess something up.. 30 was well worth it
