What side is spark knock sensor on?

Just got my block back from machine shop. I can't remember what side the spark knock sensor goes on? My corvette has them on both sides but this is for my 95 Z28.

Knock sensor is on the on the passenger side of the block

more specifically, up and forward of your starter. there's an oval shaped grey plug on it with a single wire

I tried taking out the plug the machine shop put in this hole. It didn't want to come out and started to round out the allen head hole.
I'm worried I won't get it out. So, I might try to get the plug out on the other side. Is there any reason I couldn't put the spark knock on the opposite side, other than the wire not being long enough?
It's for a road racing car.

Nope, I may be switching my sensor to the driver side as well. Senses the same water jacket on either side.
