Default Should I replace my Optispark if the Carfax report said it was replaced in 2009?

I just bought my Formula, and I am planning on doing a tune up, oil change, etc...

In my car's Carfax Report it says:
"6/18/2009 206,665 miles Distributor assembly replaced/repaired"

The car now has 221,xxx miles, when I do plugs/wires should I replace the Optispark too or no?

A new opti (versus a re-man) will cost $300 to $500.

If it had 40K-50K miles or so, I'd replace it if going with a new or rebuilt engine.......but I'd also keep the old one as a spare, just in case.

But a 15K mile opti? Man.....I'd re-use that sucker!

No need to replace it if it is working properly.

Where in Oregon? I'm between Eugene and Corvallis. Yea, we got LOTS of rain but I have yet to see my opti with a single drop of water on it from driving

If the car is running good, leave it alone.

Agreed. I replaced mine over the summer but:

I was doing Heads
It had a cracked place or 2
I was at 119,000 on original
I had the extra money at the time and I'm usually struggling from paycheck to paycheck and with that many miles I decided to replace it.

But 15k? Nah let it be
