Is there a difference when it comes to the ICM on LTx Camaros from 94 - 97?

yes, they're a bit different. there's one for 93, one for 94-95 and one for 96-97

There was a recent thread about ICMs. I think the consensus what that you could use any on any years (even though the part numbers are different). You might want to search that out to see if that is correct.

I guess it won't hurt to try, I recently sold my 94Z and i had a brand new ICM left over.

The one in my 97Z is cracked and the car sputters at high RPM. So i am changing ICM and Coil, didn't want to have to spend $80 if i dont have to.

The 94 ICM worked perfectly on my 97. So all is good ! Thanks for the info !
