Default PCM reset

So I just got two brand new AcDelco 02s for 120.

I am pretty sure I can make the computer relearn its long term fuel table if I reset it correct? I do not want the current pig rich exhaust to kill my new sensors.

There are a few ways. Unhook the battery and touch the pos and neg wires together and let it sit for 30 minutes. You can also remove the pcm fuse after un hooking the battery and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Remove the PCM BAT fuse for 30 seconds. That's usually all it takes. A minute would be overkill.

Well either way doesn't matter really, the car sits in the garage for the most part nowadays.

never never never never do this by grounding the battery cables out, just pull the fuse and wait patiently, or if you're really impatient, use a light bulb in between the battery cables

sure it works, but there are capactors in there (which is why you have to wait), eventually you'll fry something

I assure you steveo you are not going to fry anything by discharging the retained current by touching the cables together.
