Default opti spark conversiton on a lt1 to a ls1 ignition

so my opti spark took a crap and since my thread got moved becuase i was a dummy and didnt exsplain my self properly. threes a kit out there that i have heard of that u can turn ur opti spark in to a dis ignition. i was wondering if any of u guys have done this conversion before i found it at http://www.delteq.com/ or would it be worth just fixing it the gm way. and just changing the distributor.

Sorry but you still need a opti with a functioning optical part to use the delteg.

Like above, your not going to really get rid of the opti.

Best bet is to get your hands on an accell or msd. Don't buy a generic AutoZone one and the GM ones are expensive enough the accell or msd is a better alternative.

Good Luck!

Check eficonnection.com for parts to convert from optispark to use the LS1 coils. You need add a crank sensor & cam sensor if yours doesn't have one & use the LS1 PCM.
