Default My 2001 T/A WS6 vs 2010 Nissan 370Z

Hello everyone, so a few weeks ago i raced my friend who owns a brand spanking new 370z manual and a 2004 POntiac GTO 5.7L.

Me and the 370z did a roll on from 10-20mph roll, and everytime i would walk and sometimes slaughter his 370z leaving him4-5 car lengths behind everytime. I mean by the time i punch my car and for it to drop a gear and suck in air and pick up compared to him being in the right gear and just punchign it, i would walk him, and if i used 1-2-3-D it was no competition.

I also raced the GTO, and the same outcome above.

But i was wondering if anyone has raced a stock 6.0 with their stock trans am or camaro? WHat was the outcome?

My 2001 Trans am WS6 specs.

325 hp
350 torque
0-60 4.8s
0-145mph 24.8s
Fastest driven - 155 mph (limiter)

I raced a gto from about a 65-70 punch and got my ass handed to me. Granted, I have the lt1, and I don't believe this gto was anywhere near stock. I shouldve known he'd be fast, cause as he left me, I noticed his plate said "I can go". Lol

hahahahahaha..."i can go", man that gave me a good laugh. But you know what that means...time to do some modifications and race that guy again and change your license plate to "not anymore".

Lmao! That's the plans. Ibe done some since then, but after my rebuild at the beginning of the year, I'll can consider those plates, lol. I did smoke the crap out of very beautiful 350z that made me smile. I know they arent near as fast as the 370's, but still a fun time!!

I raced my buddies 04 GTO (CAI). I have a 95 with just intake and exhaust. Out of the hole I'd jump out a good 1 1/2 and at about a hundred it was about half a car. 6.0 are monsters though..

Ya, no the 5.7L gto was no compettition and same with the 370z. I think the 6.0 would be a good race for my T/A!

hahaha yea man go for it! Mines stock offf the showroom, not even a filter upgrade.

So if you have any mods, they wont even be a race. Plus i did some research 350z are constant 13.8s and even 14s 1/4 miles. THe 370z is faster than the 350z nismo as well. But even with 10 years of technology on ours, they still lose. It only edges off in corners tho.

WS6 slalom 65 mph
370z slalom 67 mph

370z look really sweet though.

I drove a 350z once... I remember not liking it.
