HP gain from ditching my flowmaster 80 series?
thinking about deleting my flowmaster and getting something else? Muffler wise that is

Might see a few hp up top in rpm's, but its not going to be a night and day difference.
Do you mind if its loud or do you want something that sounds nice?

prob see about 4-5hp especially in the top end, if your just replacing the muffler, maganflow is a great performing muffler

it really doesnt sound that good. the bullet is basically a straight pipe that takes away the shitty sounding part. Its really as loud as you can get without sounding like shit

it would be raspy, you could delete the stock muffler, and put a borla xr-2 muffler on the i-pipe, kinda like the slp loudmouth catback

I had an 80 series on Berlinetta #1 for years. I got tired of the interior noise last year and took it out for a Magnaflow single 3" in/out. The car picked up a consistent tenth in the quarter. That's about a 6-10 HP gain.
And, it's quieter in the car now, and still has a nice throaty sound to it.
