vs
Stock 4.6 03 mustang gt 5 speed
who wins in a straight line

all depends if the mustang driver really knows his car or not

noob racer vs noob racer the camaro would win, takes quite a bit of practice to maximize straight line power with a stick, you know

the mustang will probably win if he knows how to shift, knows his power band, and launches hard like he doesn't mind breaking his car

with more modern (and likely less worn) suspension, and a stick, the 'stang can potentially put more to the ground

Stock 4.6 Mustang GTs are slow. I was beating stock and slightly modded ones in a heavy TBSS by .2-.4 sec in the 1/8th. The sad part was that the TBSS only ran a best of 9.14 et (slow).

stock lt1 will beat 4.6 stang everytime

If the camaro has 2.73 gears it will be much closer

i had 2.73 gears in mine stock and i walked away from a lot of those 4.6 stangs
