Default LT1 Convertible F-Bodies: Suspension Upgrades

Hi All,

I am looking to replace and/or upgrade stock suspension components on my '96 Z28 convertible. It is a daily driver and I would like to handle like its on rails but still maintain a reasonably comfortable ride.

I wanted to ask the members what brands and components you would recommend using. I want quality parts but don't want to go over kill. Not gonna drag race it, but in the future, the car might have a 383 and a Moser rear at the most.

Present list of items:
- Socks and struts
- Strut tower brace
- Control arms
- Panhard bar
- Weld-in subframe connectors

Thanks in advance!

yep, you got it

i had a set of mac subframe connectors in mine, and i loved them, makes the biggest difference on a vert

do the strut tower brace last, you barely notice it

make it adjustable panhard and LCAs in case you ever want to put drop springs in (or are you doing that already..)

dont just go throwing poly on everything (i did...) it makes the car too damn noisy, there's just way too much squeaky stuff on a vert
