No gear at all suddenly?!

I drove my 1994 T/A 5.7l Auto trans to my new house parked it in the garage, backed it out to move it over for the lawn mowers. Then nothing, no gears. No R D 1. When in park the car doesn't move. Any other gear it revs up, and acts like a N. So the linkage is working i think. Any ideas guys?

The pump in your transmission. Where is the fluid on the dipstick?

You sure? That doesn't sound right.
It should usually be higher with the motor off and drop when running and in gear as it pumps fluid into the torque converter.
Read checking procedure and recheck fluid level. Clean end of dip stick between checks.
