With the help of this forum I rebuilt my 4l60e in my Tahoe over a year ago. Now that I am nearing 40k I noticed what was possibly TC lockup shutter the other night.
So I purchased a pressure gauge. At idle I am slightly soft at 55psi. Reverse is right around 80.
I decided to take it for a spin with the gauge installed to see how it was acting. While cruising at 55mph my pressure hangs out in the 120psi area. Before a shift I sometimes notice a very momentary 20-30psi drop in line pressure for half a second then it comes right back up. Is this typical?
If I want to bump my pressure just a bit how do I do that?
