gain or lose power?

I was wondering if I would be loosing or gaining power with my exhaust. I have LT header, Y-pipe, and full air induction setup, but I was wondering if me running straight pipe from the Y would cause me to lose any type of power or would I gain any? Also would I damage anthing cuz someone told me that I could burn my valves.

you will lose a lil on the bottom end but pick up a bunch up top,burning valves is not likely with this set up,90% of us would have had this happen by now.its prolly the most common mod!go for it:LS1LT1flag:
