My 93 Camaro doesn't have a factory sub. If I were to add a factory Bose Sub where would it be mounted??

Honestly id spend the extra cash for a subthump box and a 10 inch sub and an amp or you could by an amplified sub box for the left rear quarter. The factory bose sub is only 6.5 inch and i wouldnt think that would be enough for anyone.

Whatever mine has now hits plenty hard for me. I'm out of the whole "bumpin" stage, though.
Actually though, the last owner replaced one of the rear component speakers with too big of a speaker and the panel won't snap back down now..... :( the things that kid did with this car amazes me.
...But yeah that kit fits nicely in the hole there in the trunk and you don't really lose any trunk space.

i have a box that holds a 10 (has on in it but its an old rockford fosgate). fits in the drivers side fenderwell as others described. $50 and its all yours. It sounded good even with the shitty sub. Put one of my kickers in to see how it would sound and it was amazing. But i have a conv. so it doesnt fit. paid 95...my loss your gain. ohh yeah and its one of them fiberglass custom form boxes...forgot the brand and dont want to take it back apart.

It's located in the drivers rear planel. Bose is very expensive, and yes has good bang, but you can go cheaper for much better. Sub-thump makes the stealth boxes for the open panel in the back. Then the rest is up to you for how hard/soft you wanna bump.

So the factory Bose bose fits into the void behind drivers rear wheel? The same as the other manufacturers that are being mentioned in the thread? I purchased the bose sub off ebay and was going to install a better/newer speaker into the enclosure but I don't have a cover to make it look clean. I'm not running an aftermarket head unit or amps. In fact I just sprung to get an original Bose dash unit and was shooting to keep everyting looking original.

THe bose sub was in the trunk trim. Like on the side and top on the driver's side plastic trim shit. Like the cover over the spare tire, ut on the other side. My stock bose sub hits pretty hard, I enjoy it, but I can't turn it up too loud because for some reason the soundpulsates and shit, I really wish I had the money for a sound system.

i actually build fiberglass custom enclosures. check my website to see some pics of them. www.myspace.com/dreamer386 (http://www.myspace.com/dreamer386) theres a custom box for a 15 in an explorer there. but i managed to fit 4 12's in my camaro withought taking the back seats out or totally eliminating the rear view =) 2 up outta the hole and my own design for two on the deck facing out. ill post those pics soon. im outta central florida on the east coast if your in the market for a custom look.
